We are looking for a showroom salesperson with an interest in DIY and/or Machinery, and basic numeracy and literacy skills. Most importantly the ideal candidate needs to have the right attitude, needs to be well presented, be willing to learn, be energetic, friendly, and approachable.

The successful candidate will work in the showroom (bathroom) and take ownership of that department. We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude, who can close sales.

Key duties:

  • Responsible for selling flooring, doors, and sanitary ware to existing and potential customers
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Maintaining customer relations through solid communication and service skills
  • Engaging with trade division to develop new sales and manage existing customers requirements
  • Following up on quotations and developing business to business opportunities
  • Developing different sales strategies to generate additional sales
  • Approaching all customers that enter the showroom to close sales
  • Maintaining the department which includes shop merchandising with attention to detail for store presentation, purchasing of stock, stock management, and ensuring correct pricing within the department.
