Are you a Microbiology graduate with some experience in a Laboratory environment?

Our client, a global leader in Consumer Products, with a portfolio of over 200 brands, is looking for a Microbiologist to join their Science & Technology laboratory team to support with practical Microbiology tasks.

This is an exciting opportunity to influence the development of a new portfolio of products.

You’ll be working to create data for quality purposes retrospectively as well as for product launches, providing the end-to-end practical aspects for the Microbiology function, supporting and enabling innovation and carrying out microbiological investigations.

What will my practical responsibilities be?

  • Provide ongoing analysis of dispense trials, with stakeholder engagement.
  • Deliver data driven conclusions around the different dispense options.
  • Provide insight as to how the dispense options function within a real-world setting.
  • Make dispense recommendations to the business, with input from the group microbiologist.
  • Undertake micro projects ensuring that objectives are met successfully.

The ideal applicant has:

  • A Microbiology or Biology based Science Degree.
  • Good practical knowledge of classical and molecular biology techniques (i.e. plating, PCR, QRT-PCR, DNA extractions).
  • A working knowledge of microbiology.
  • The ability to draw clear and robust conclusions and communicate these effectively.
