Facilities Maintenance Specialist-6 Months Contract

Are you a motivated individual with training in Building Systems/Mechanical Engineering or similar technical fields? My client is a leading technology company, they are looking for a new member to support their XIR campus for a 6-month contract.

What will I be doing day-to-day?

Assist in supervising maintenance contractors for a diverse range of systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, fire protection, and more.

• Contribute to critical infrastructure support and data center monitoring.
• Drive energy management programs and sustainability initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records and drawings for efficient operations.
• Support budget planning and management.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Assist in managing space plans and employee moves.
• Handle work requests promptly and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have experience in many of these areas:

Technical college training in Building Systems/Mechanical Engineering or related field.

• Proficiency in Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
