Head Chef – Vendor Manager (Corporate) – 11-month contract

We are looking for an outstanding Head Chef/Vendor Manager with hands-on experience dealing with partners, managing budget and with a creative mind for menu creation.

This role will be supporting a cafe and restaurant in Dublin South, working onsite state-of-the-art tech offices of a global company.

You will be responsible for supporting the Area Chef in Dublin, overseeing food quality, and keeping touch with other partners, purchasers. You’ll have the overall responsibility for the kitchen’s daily operations. Vendor Management is the main focus of the position, you will need to attend weekly meetings and take part in menu creation as well.

The ideal candidate has:

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a 4* or 5* establishment as a Sous Chef, Head Chef, Kitchen Manager or Vendor Manager.
• F&B management experience.
• Hospitality background in a high-end restaurant or in a 4*-5* hotels.
• Knowledge of different cuisines from all over the world.
• Chef certificate and HACCP.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

This is an 11-month contract (maternity leave cover).

Location: Dublin South

Shift: Monday – Friday only; 40 hours/week.

Start: October 2023
