My client is a multinational SaaS company in the financial tech industry with a
portfolio of cutting-edge fin-tech products that allow businesses to grow and thrive and customers to enjoy more choice for funding their purchases.
What is the position?
We are currently seeking a Catalan Localisation Specialist for the Catalan-speaking market. In this role, you will be responsible for translating and interpreting content strategy, maintaining linguistic excellence in Catalan, adapting campaign messaging, and collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders.
Sounds great, but what experience makes me eligible for the role?
An ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in the localization industry, either in marketing or product localization. You should be able to demonstrate experience working with global brands, engaging with external agencies to produce locally relevant content.
You have a native proficiency in Catalan, including strong grammar, writing, and editing skills. In addition, a deep understanding of the Catalonian market, including its cultural dimensions and linguistic norms, is essential.
If you are also familiar with tools such as Phrase, Memsource, or comparable Translation Management Systems (TMS) that is a big plus.
This opportunity is a 12-month contract initially, 100% remote (candidates must be located in Ireland), paying up to €56,700 per annum pro rata.
