Senior Merchandiser (Sports Retail)

Are you passionate about fashion and eager to make your mark in the exciting world of retail? Look no further! We are delighted to announce an incredible opportunity to join our client’s team as a Senior Merchandiser.

The role offers a blend of key responsibilities, reporting into the Head of Merchandising and will have approx. 2 direct reports. It’s a highly analytical role, and our client are looking for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and vibrant internal culture.

Core areas of responsibilities are

• Open to buy process – you’ll work closely with the buying teams.
• Stock management – you’ll take accountability of order-book management, and intake planning.
• Reporting – it’s a super collaborative role and you’ll liaise with the head of multiple departments and key stakeholders including IT and Buying.
• People Management – we want to see you take ownership of growing this merchandising function and leading the team to success!

What would we like to see from you?

• To thrive in this role, an analytical mindset is important. This is a highly functional position within the team.
• Proficiency with ERP systems ( Microsoft D365 ), BI Tools ( eg Tableau ) and MSOffice.
• Strong experience working in a fashion or sports retail OMNI CHANNEL environment. We are incredibly fast-paced, so experience here is key for your success.
• Degree in Buying and Merchandising or other relevant 3rd level qualification.
• An excellent communicator, strong time management & commercial awareness.
