Personal Lines New Business Sales Executive – Wexford

This insurance company is one of the largest insurance brokers in Ireland. They are committed to providing their clients with the highest level of customer service in the industry. They focus on finding solutions for their customers' insurance needs, including home, travel, car insurance, commercial packages, and life and pension products.

We are seeking new business sales person for our personal lines team. The role will consist of providing advice on car, home & van insurance new business sales, customer service and administration. Cross sales referrals for both the Life & Pensions and Health arms of our business is expected. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, motivated and disciplined individual with a positive can-do attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Overcoming objections, closing sales.
• Chasing leads provided by the marketing team.
• Updating customer information in line with GDPR guidelines and Compliance.
• Issuing motor, home and van insurance quotes on both an inbound and outbound basis
• Dealing with customer queries
• Cross selling Insurance Products
• Meeting and exceeding monthly targets for both quotations issued and sales closed
• Setting up client accounts and ensuring relevant customer documentation is accurate.
• Noticing changes in customer details and updating the system accordingly.
• Reporting rate increases to team leader/manager monthly and customer feed-back.

Requirements:

• CIP, APA Personal General or grandfathered qualification
• 2+ years insurance experience preferably in a brokerage
• Have a clear focus on sales & wish to build their career in this area
• Be committed to provide a high level of service to customers & potential customers 
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
