It's hard to believe RECRUITERS is fourteen years old today! Like all old-timers, we're going to make it all about us and tell you a story about how we were born and what it was like 'back in our day'...
Once upon a time, there were two highly trained and experienced recruitment directors that worked in one of the world's largest recruitment consultancy's; Gerard Doyle and Brian McFadden (no, not the member of Westlife unfortunately).
Every day, they would ensure that their clients and candidates received the best recruitment service possible. Over time, the two directors became more and more frustrated because they noticed the standard of the industry, that they were so passionate about, began changing significantly. It became too much about the metrics and the consultancy aspect, the aspect they loved most, was diminishing.
They noticed that the culture within the company and the industry that they loved also began to change as a result. Until finally, on the 6th March 2006, they decided to set up RECRUITERS - a recruitment company that respects its staff, practices good values, instills a good culture and punches above its weight because of the trusting relationships it instills and the standard of service it delivers their clients and candidates throughout Ireland.
The mission of the company in 2006 is still the same today - to put consulting back into recruitment.
Fourteen years later, our vision and belief also remain the same. We believe everyone should feel inspired in work, secure when they're there and leave fulfilled every day. This belief carries through to how we treat our own employees and the types of jobs we promote to candidates on behalf of Ireland's greatest brands.
We've seen and lived through it all. Recessions, governments, GDPR, Brexit and Covid-19...the list keeps going and we hope it never stops! One thing that's never changed, however, is the quality of our people for whom, we owe a great debt of gratitude. In fact, we would certainly not be here today if it wasn't for them so we're also going to take this opportunity to say a huge big thank you! The people that have come and gone from the business over the years have shaped its character, culture and success, and for that, we're so very grateful.
So here's to many more years of character building and further success in-line with our company values of honesty, openness, drive, creativity and fun, with those we love and appreciate around us!
