Managing director Gerard Doyle began his recruitment career in the mid-90s in Ireland and has recruited for many top companies in technology, FMCG, finance, banking and aircraft leasing. He founded RECRUITERS in 2006 with Brian McFadden and since then has helped many organisations understand and use the latest products on offer from the recruitment industry including employer branding, contingent workforce solutions, executive search and payroll services.

Gerard has a master’s in training and performance management to complement his IPD qualification. In 2019, he joined the People & Advisory Board of GOAL and plays an active role in promoting the charity as an employer of choice.

As a consultant, Gerard specialises in HR leadership roles at RECRUITERS as part of our executive search service for employers. Within the Irish market, Gerard is best known for sourcing and placing the following leaders:

HR Directors, Chief People Officers, L&D leadership and Senior HR Business Partners. He has the deepest network in Ireland in this regard.

Outside of work, Gerard is a mentor to three SMEs, dad to two teenagers and a fitness and nutrition enthusiast. He’s completed four Ironman Triathlons and is a big advocate for exercise as a method to promote mental health and wellbeing. He’s also a big travel fan and can speak Portuguese.
