RECRUITERS on the road: Bringing innovation training around the country

**This course is no longer accepting applications**

RECRUITERS hit the road this week for the first of four information sessions in the launch of the regional post grad certificate for innovation and enterprise development with Tangent, Trinity’s Ideas Workspace.

With Trinity’s programme, students will learn the fundamentals of creative thinking, idea development, opportunity generation and recognition, and venture planning in order to bring innovative products and services to market.

The course commences in September 2019 and there is a total of 80 spaces available with 20 in each of the four selected regions: Cavan, Longford, Waterford and Tipperary. The courses will run mainly online and with locally based, classroom modules in Longford town. RECRUITERS is delivering information sessions in each region, the first of which took place last night (25 July) in Cavan.

“We had a full house, great interest and engagement from the Cavan professional community,” said Jane Gormley, director of nationwide recruitment at RECRUITERS. “Applications are coming in fast and the team is looking forward to a really exciting kick off in September.”

The information session took place in the Cavan Digital Hub, a brand-new building, which Gormley said was a welcome addition to the business community. “We were one of the first evening events, and thrilled to be able to use the brilliant services available.”

RECRUITERS is heading to Longford, Waterford and Tipperary next week for more information sessions for those who want to know more about the course. Individuals who are wholly committed to ongoing training, professional advancement, launching their own ideas and who see high value in education will be ideal applicants. The course is €300, which is 10% of the overall cost as it is subsidised by Springboard and will help in the overall growth of regional talent.

The Longford information evening will take place in the County Longford Golf Club on Tuesday, 30 July. To register for the event and for more information, click here.
