Senior Finance Manager

The Senior Finance Manager role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to join at a time when the company is going through major growth, you will get involved in the day-to-day operations of finance, strategy and supporting the business with your commercial acumen. With a clear career path for roles in the future, and the opportunity to work with very talented individuals, this role will suit an ambitious, hands-on and experienced senior finance leader, ideally with a background working for a Plc.

The day-to-day:

• Oversight of all accounting operations
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
• Liaison with Internal/External Auditors
• Provide meaningful commercial commentaries/reports analysing performance across business areas and present to the senior management team
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements for the consolidated group
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Direct line management of 5 staff members

What we are looking for:

• Professional accounting qualification (CA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA)
• 5+ years of accounting or relevant experience
• Good understanding of IFRS/Irish GAAP, financial statements and accounting theory
• Financial Modelling and Forecasting skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with others within and outside the accounting team
• Commercial Acumen
• Previous experience of using ERP software or similar would be advantageous
• Experience to lead and motivate a growing finance team
