So tell me about the company and the role?

Our client is a leading player in the energy industry, committed to delivering sustainable and innovative solutions to their customers. As they continue to expand their operations, they are now seeking an experienced Sales Operations Manager to join and lead an existing team.

You will play a pivotal role in streamlining sales processes, enhancing efficiency, and supporting the sales team to achieve outstanding results. Your keen eye for detail and ability to identify actionable insights from data will be instrumental in driving sales strategies and enhancing their competitive edge in the market.

What will I be doing on a day to day basis?

  • Sales Strategy Optimisation: Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with our business objectives and growth targets.
  • CRM Build: Work closely with an outsourced consultancy to assist on a new custom CRM build and ensure it is fit for purpose (no technical development skills required, just functional usability)
  • Sales Performance Analysis: Utilise data analytics to assess sales performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance sales productivity and revenue generation.
  • Process Enhancement: Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes, ensuring streamlined operations and optimal use of resources.
  • Sales Forecasting: Lead the sales forecasting process to provide accurate and timely insights into future sales projections and help drive proactive decision-making.
  • Sales Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive sales reports and dashboards for key stakeholders to track performance and highlight opportunities for improvement.

And what do you need from me to be considered?

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field and experience in managing a team. 
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, preferably in the energy industry or a related field
  • Proven track record of driving sales performance improvements and revenue growth.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and data analysis tools including Power BI, Snapfix and Dynamics
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams.
