Lead Principal Consultant (Life Sciences)

Our Permanent and Contracting divisions recruit for across Technology, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Insurance, HR & Talent, PMO, Customer Support and Supply Chain with iconic brand name clients.  We are now expanding into Life Sciences driven by our MD. We already have some significant brand names in Life Sciences and want to leverage off this to expand and grow by appointing a lead principal for the area.  

This role will be for a business development and relationship management-oriented person interested in crafting a career in managing a business unit, building a team and reaching for a director role in a short time frame. With our support structures and experienced leadership team, we will enable you to reach your goals if you bring the ambition and skills. 

Your day-to-day role: 

• This is a billing manager role so you will be responsible for developing a strong awareness of the market to hire the best Science, Medical and Pharma talent for our clients 
• Work on Business development (your own, campaigns with marketing and sales team, fostering activity across the business to leverage contacts) to grow the our client base further 
• Work on key roles for your clients, ensuring that all our processes are followed and in line with the agreed methodologies for each client and reach your own target as well as team target 
• Hire, train and mentor consultants for the Life Sciences teams
• Champion the use of our ATS / CRM BULLHORN to manage and utilise our data to find candidates and clients
• Content Marketing to brand and raise awareness, events and more to grow your business line
• Networking events to build client base
• Thought Leadership for developing the life sciences department

To be considered for interview, your skills and experience must include: 

• 3rd Level degree with at least 4 years work experience in a Recruitment Agency operating at a senior level OR in a sales and business development role with a good knowledge of Life Sciences and Engineering and a passion for the industry 
• Excellent business development and account management skills
• A keen interest in developing your people management skills - hiring mentoring, training and managing a team of sales consultants 
• Inquisitive nature with the ability to listen actively to your candidates and clients and develop business acumen.  
• Ambitious, self-starter with high personal standards and expectations. 
• Work in line with and champion our values of openness, drive, creativity, fun and honesty 

Additional Information: 
The base salary and OTE for this role is wide open depending on what you bring to the table. We also offer a 5% Flexi benefits package, great holidays, off site events and a ski trip planned for when we hit our target in 2023. We also offer a unique benefit, Project Revive – an extra month’s annual leave for you paid after a certain period of employment with us.
