Indirect Tax Specialist

Our client is a global leader. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Indirect Tax Specialist to join their team and contribute to their continued success.

As an Indirect Tax Specialist you will play a critical role in managing and optimising their indirect tax processes. You will be responsible for handling VAT returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting the global tax strategy. If you have a background in VAT, experience working in a multinational corporation (MNC), and proficiency in SAP, we want to hear from you.

The role:

• Prepare and submit VAT returns accurately and on time for multiple jurisdictions.
• Review and analyze indirect tax data to identify potential savings opportunities and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement tax-efficient solutions and drive process improvements.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate their impact on the organization.
• Assist in tax audits and provide necessary documentation and support to tax authorities.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all indirect tax matters.
• Utilise SAP and other financial systems to streamline tax processes and reporting

What you need to have?:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree or professional tax qualification is a plus).
• Experience in indirect tax, with a strong focus on VAT.
• Previous experience working in a multinational corporation (MNC) is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.
• Strong understanding of international tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data handling.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
