What will my day to day look like? 

This hunter role is part of a dynamic sMarketing team, working closely with the Client Services Director, Head of Marketing and a Senior SDR. This role has a focus on new business only and requires someone with the right mindset, not afraid to research contacts and reach out to them, someone who can dig and research to find the right people to speak in order to qualify them and to champion our business. On a daily basis you will be doing the following: 

  • Research and onboard new clients and contacts who are open to business in Ireland and have a need for our service lines
  • Use tools like Crunchbase, Dealfront (Leadfeeder), LinkedIn and Internet E-zines and business segments for Discovery Phase to find new clients
  • Build a funnel of leads through discovery phase, qualify them and close smaller deals
  • For larger accounts and deals, set up calls / meetings with the management team in Recruiters to help close
  • Chasing new clients currently advertising in the Irish market, capturing information about them on our CRM system BULLHORN and develop a call cycle to keep in touch
  • Work with our CRM (Bullhorn) to update client contact information, add new companies and maintain call lists
  • Work on projects focusing on different segments of clients from our CRM which are coded and organised
  • Promote Events, surveys and distribute reports and survey results to client contacts

What do I need?

  • Degree qualified with at least 1-2 years’ experience in and outbound sales / business development role
  • Ambitious, self-starter with high personal standards and communication skills..
  • Understanding of core metrics in business development and sales 
  • Inquisitive nature with the ability to listen actively to client contacts and understand “buying signals”, beyond what people say
  • To work in line with and champion our values of openness, drive, creativity, fun and honesty
