Andrew Sheehan has more than 10 years’ experience in marketing. Having joined RECRUITERS in late 2017, he is responsible for overseeing every aspect of the marketing function, from brand positioning and demand generation to SEO and events. In 2022, Andrew was promoted to Head of Marketing and Business Insights.
Andrew started his marketing journey by setting up his own part-time marketing consultancy in 2008 while simultaneously training to become a qualified accountant at BDO. He then followed his passion for marketing and took on a full-time marketing position in NYC with Tourism Ireland. Several successful campaigns and 32 international awards for Tourism Ireland later, Andrew joined a tech startup as Marketing Manager and successfully grew the marketing team and the company’s market share in both the UK and Ireland before joining RECRUITERS as their Head of Marketing.
Andrew’s day job transfers to his hobbies too, as he likes to listen to business and marketing podcasts when he's not mentoring a Cork-based tech startup and also acts as an employer branding advisor for the international aid charity, GOAL.
