What is Covid-19 teaching us here at RECRUITERS?
It's been an uncertain week for many people and businesses across Ireland. When it comes to an emergency, however, the people and businesses of Ireland have always been global leaders in demonstrating solidarity, unity and community.
As the management team discusses this in our daily morning meetings, I wanted to share with you what we feel the Covid-19 virus has thought us at RECRUITERS to-date and how those learnings can be used to help your business during these tough times.
Our company vision has been our north star
Our vision has never felt more important to us and that is our vision of a world where everyone is inspired in work, feels secure when they're there, and leaves fulfilled every day. The actions of our clients, their staff and our colleagues to reduce the spread of Covid-19 has been utterly inspiring. Yes, it's led to disruption but it's also helped people feel more safe and secure.
In our first week working from home, our consultants have helped our client's source and recruit 15 key new members of their teams. Not only has this freed up much needed time for those hiring managers, but it has also helped to keep your operations at full capacity where needed most. It's been incredibly fulfilling, for us, to help you at such a difficult time but
the feedback from candidates and clients alike has been very fulfilling.
We are reminded of the importance of our mission
Our mission has always been to put consulting back into recruitment. The current crises has reminded us of how important this is for our clients. We have been able to provide our
contracting and temp staff services to help our clients overcome the uncertainty about taking on permanent staff right now. Our advice, contracting and
outsourced managed services have helped alleviate risks, reduced costs and have ensured that our clients remain stronger than their rivals.
Our culture and values have been precious to us
Pool tables are of little use to us all now. All of our company cultures and values have never been more tested. That's why
our consultants always source candidates that perfectly match our client's culture and values. Our own values of honesty, openness, drive, creativity and fun continue to guide our remote work transition and continue to drive our service to employers across Ireland.
We are equal...in different ways
Covid-19 has reminded us that we are all equal, regardless of our culture, occupation or financial situation. This disease treats us all equally as human beings but has impacted us professionally in different ways. Unlike many of our competitors,
our response to Covid-19 means that we can remain active for our clients so that they can continue to achieve their goals. It's been challenging but we are here to help you come out of this stronger.
It's meant solidarity, unity and community
Covid-19 is reminding us of the shortness of life, the fragility of businesses and of what is most important for us to do, which is to help each other, especially those who are old, sick or have recently lost their job. If you're a parent working at home, these five simple tips for
surviving to work from home with children might help.
Covid-19 is reminding us of how important our family and home life is and much we have neglected this. It is forcing us to take action, strengthen our family and businesses. RECRUITERS are here to help you in any and every way we can to help you get through it.
