Head of Risk & Compliance

This is a super opportunity for a senior Risk/Compliance leader who is looking to work with a huge degree of autonomy.

As Head of Compliance you are responsible for managing the risk and compliance functions and you will work directly with the CEO, Senior Management, and the Board in implementing and embedding the compliance and risk management frameworks throughout the Company and promoting a positive risk and compliance culture.

Note: This is a PCF holding role and subject to approval by the Central Bank under their Fitness and Probity Regime (PCF-12: Head of Compliance)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and manage the compliance and risk management frameworks in conjunction with local regulatory requirement, Group requirements and best practice
• Alignment to the Group compliance and risk frameworks, ensuring on time delivery of all Group compliance activities and reporting
• Implement and manage compliance and risk monitoring programs; including annual riskbased Compliance Monitoring Plan “CMP” and Risk Monitoring Plan “RMP”

Key Requirements:

• A minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar role in financial services with ‘retail credit’ experience preferable
• Understanding or experience in the Insurance industry is desirable but not essential
• Understanding of compliance regulatory requirements for  Anti Money Laundering (AML), Consumer Protection Code (CPC), Minimum Competency Code (MCC), Fitness & Probity Standards, GDPR….
• Professional qualifications relevant to the role e.g. LCOI accreditation
